Richard Megennis

Richard leads the Business Development and Engagement Manager team for the University of Salford’s Business Innovation Services. He has over 10 years of experience leading business development, sales and marketing teams to drive sustainable and equitable growth across regions such as EMEA and Latin America. In his current role, he works closely with businesses across all sectors to develop innovation projects for industry using the expertise, facilities and funding streams available at the University.

He has worked in Amsterdam, Barcelona and Santiago de Chile and speaks both Spanish and Portuguese fluently. He has just completed a Master’s degree in Sustainable Business Leadership at the University of Leeds with a focus on sustainable supply chains.
