You may have noticed a new building has been developed in the New Bailey area of Salford, and you may also be surprised to know that it contains the area’s newest multi storey NCP car park.

Our latest car park is at Salford Stanley Street, which is an example of the ‘new build’ strand of this strategy.  We’ve worked in conjunction with the English Cities Fund to develop the car park and to celebrate its opening we’ve created some exciting launch offers.

Salford Stanley Street is a newly built, 633 space multi storey car park in the New Bailey development area of Salford. Salford’s New Bailey and Chapel Street areas have seen significant regeneration and investment in recent years and have rapidly become a popular destination for both businesses and individuals, with high demand for parking. The contemporary design, market leading facilities and UK first services such as disabled electric parking bays are all part of our aim to continually improve our customers experience when parking with us at Salford Stanley Street.

Industry accolades

As a finalist for ‘Best New Car Park’ at the British Parking Awards 2019, Salford Stanley Street is a striking contemporary building designed by AHR Architects and visually complements the local area and our adjacent award-winning Manchester New Bailey car park. With the NCP New Bailey car park already running close to capacity, the new Salford Stanley Street site will significantly increase the parking supply in the area, providing customers with more choice as to where and when they park.

The car park itself uses energy efficient LED lighting and is fitted with six electric vehicle charging points, along with 20 wide bays to make sure it meets the diverse needs of customers. There are also unique electric car charging points for disabled drivers which are a UK first, and are recognised by the ‘Peoples Parking’ organisation.

The new site also offers the latest customer-focused payments facilities, including Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), so those who sign up can get automated payments when they park – removing the need for them to visit kiosks or payment machines.

As NCP continues to strive to improve the customer experience at all its car parks, at Salford Stanley Street, customers can enjoy the benefit of state of the art technology connected to NCP’s dedicated Customer Contact Centre based in Manchester. This means that any faults in the equipment will be self-detected and resolved quickly, helping provide customers with a more seamless parking experience.
