Workplace COVID-19 testing for Manchester businesses 

Sometimes people can have the Covid virus without knowing it and without any symptoms. That’s why we have an extra form of rapid testing to help us pick up these cases.

If your employees are not able to work from home, they can have rapid testing (lateral flow testing) twice a week. Retail and hospitality businesses planning for reopening may be interested in testing to provide confidence and reassurance to staff and customers.

There are two routes to access the testing:

The Government’s scheme  

Businesses who wish to set up regular rapid testing in at their business premises can sign up to a Government scheme to do their own testing. Businesses must register before 31 March to receive free tests up until the end of June.

Our local testing sites  

Employees can book a slot at our test sites across the city by ringing 0161 947 0770/ 0800 0924020. Slots are available Monday- Saturday and can be arranged to fit work and shift patterns.
