Seashell Trust first ever Virtual Balloon Race – across the Sahara Desert

As a charity we rely on fundraising income to enable us to provide the best life experiences, specialist support and vital equipment needed to enhance and enrich the lives of our children and young people.

You can help by joining in with a virtual ‘Across the Sahara Desert’ Balloon Race.

The Balloon race starts at 12pm on the 8th August when virtual balloons will be set off from Timbuktu across the Sahara Desert with the race lasting for 7days.

Please enter below where you can name, design your own balloon online, decide weight, thickness and shape to enable it to deal with weather conditions on route and then follow it for 7 days as it flies across the Sahara Desert to wherever the winds take it.

Entry is just £3 per balloon so why not get the whole family involved.

All entries are in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize for the balloons that travel the furthest –

• 1st Prize – £500
• 2nd Prize – Apple iPad
• 3rd Prize – 10 x £10 Book Tokens

In addition to the main event prizes we will also have additional prizes for the furthest Seashell balloon.
