The Dragonfly Ball – Charity fundraising ball for Derian House Children’s Hospice,Chorley
15th October 2024, 11:49 am
Join us at the Dragonfly Ball to support the amazing work that Derain House Children’s Hospice does for children’s and families across the North West. The evening will include entertainment, a casual BBQ buffet, live music including the brilliant Agent Smith, dancing, a prize draw with 10 chances to win included in your ticket price, and a very special auction. It’s set to be a special evening raising much needed funds for Derain House.
Every year the charity relies on donations from the public of over £4 million, with less than 30% of the £6 million+ needed to run the service coming from statutory sources. It’s unthinkable what families, children and young people would do without the respite, end of life and bereavement care and support they provide. What better way to support this critical service than getting your glad rags on, coming together and having a memorable night, while raising money to support local families.
Please come dressed to impress (black tie optional) wearing a little dragonfly pink or green as a nod to ‘The Dragonfly Story’ that has helped many families and children through times of grief, and giving an everlasting of symbol of those they’ve lost.
Whilst this is a special event, it isn’t a gala dinner with a formal sit down meal. There will be plenty of space to sit and relax around tables as well as tall chairs and bar tables, rather than formal reserved seating. If you’d prefer reserved seating please choose the VIP Reserved Tablet ticket type (10 tickets per booking)
