15th February 2024, 9:50 am

The University of Manchester invites you to a free series of events in March, focused on bringing together people in Manchester working in CreaTech – roles at an intersection of the creative, technology and digital sectors. This will build a network to provide support, funding and connections to help this sector to grow and to Make Manchester Great.

Vision – Our first event will focus on bringing together academics and mavericks from the worlds of video, gaming, Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), animation, TV/film industry and the wider arts, who are interested and working in the Vision space within Greater Manchester.

Sound – This event will focus on bringing together academics and mavericks from the worlds of music, sound design and the TV/film industry, interested and working in the Audio sector within Greater Manchester, to uncover the overall theme of “How Do We Make Manchester Great?”

Fashion – Our final event will focus on bringing together academics and mavericks interested and working in the world of fashion design, textile/garment manufacturing, fashion technology, and sustainable fashion within Greater Manchester, to uncover the overall theme of “How Do We Make Manchester Great?”

Whether you’re looking for an innovative insight, funding or to create new partnerships, we would love for you to attend and join this new Creative Tech Network. We hope to see you at one of our events and join a family that empowers each other, shapes the sector and helps Manchester to achieve greatness.
