Ismail Ertürk
Senior Lecturer at Alliance Manchester Business School, is
an expert in banking and financial innovation. With extensive
international advisory experience, he will speak on ESG and
responsible finance, drawing on his research in financialization
and corporate governance.

Azhar Quaiyoom
Director & CEO of Qsustain and a Chartered Engineering
professional, will discuss “Growing a Green Business:
Profit and Purpose.” With expertise in sustainability and
decarbonisation in the rail sector, Azhar will share insights
on tackling industry challenges, innovative solutions, and the
future of green business.

The Business Engagement & Knowledge Exchange team
at The University of Manchester will highlight the support
available for enhancing ESG initiatives and share details about
upcoming events focused on ESG.

Jennifer O’Brien
Academic Lead for Sustainability Teaching and Learning at The University of Manchester, runs the University Living Lab, and will join us to share how this initiative helps to develop student research projects in partnership with external organisations, to help them meet their sustainability goals in line with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
