RPG Chartered Accountants in Manchester have been recognised for their long-standing contribution to DFK International after being named Firm of the Year for UK and Ireland (UK&I).
RPG Chartered Accountants were presented with the DFK UK&I Firm of the Year Award during the DFK UK &I regional conference held recently in Birmingham.
DFK International is a tax, audit and accounting services organisation with 204 independent member firms based across 90 countries, operating in 27 commercial centres in the UK and Ireland.
The accolade is presented to the firm which has contributed the most to the positive development of the region throughout the year.
RPG, who also have an office in North Wales, provide a range of accountancy, tax and business advisory services to businesses and private clients with interests across the UK and all over the world. The firm has a team of 95 after more than doubling in size over the last six years, and it is now going through a technological transformation to improve efficiencies and further strengthen the business.
RPG has been a member of DFK for over 30 years and is an active member of the association, attending conferences, making frequent business referrals and having representation on a large number of DFK committees.
Jonathan Brownson, Managing Partner of RPG, said: “It is an honour to be named the 2023 DFK UK&I Firm of the Year, and we are immensely proud to be recognised by our peers and presented with such a prestigious accolade. “DFK is a fantastic association which allows us to connect with like-minded firms, share knowledge and best practice, have access to specialists we might not have in-house and provide global support to our clients.
“It is embedded all of the way through our firm with our senior leaders involved in conferences and committees, and our young professionals participating in DFK’s Emerging Leaders programme which gives them the opportunity to develop their management skills.
“Being active in so many committees is incredibly useful as it demonstrates that we all share the same issues, and the meetings provide us with a forum to collaborate, share our views and discuss solutions and opportunities
“The conferences, particularly the international events, provide good opportunities to connect with overseas firms which means that we can refer our clients to businesses with whom we have an existing connection with which is extremely valuable.
“The UK and Ireland Conference in Birmingham was a fantastic event, and we are already looking forward to the 2024 event in Belfast.”
Mark Ashfield, Managing Director of HB&O and Chairman of DFK UK&I, said: “We would like to congratulate RPG on being named our DFK UKI Firm of the Year.
“The firm is a long-standing and extremely active member of DFK, with colleagues at all levels engaging with the association, and this award is very well deserved.”
