NICOLA SHORTLISTED FOR AWARD CELEBRATING MANCHESTER TALENT

A Manchester private client lawyer has been shortlisted for a prestigious award celebrating the best of the city’s young business talent.

Nicola Walker from law firm Clarke Willmott LLP is up for Lawyer of the Year at the upcoming Made in Manchester Awards (MiMAs).

Nicola, a senior associate at the Spring Gardens based firm, deals with all aspects of private client work relating to death and mental capacity, including wills, probate and estate administration, lasting powers of attorney and the creation of trusts.

She predominantly works for high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and also sits on the Manchester Law Society Private Client Committee.

The Made in Manchester Awards celebrate the best of Manchester’s young business talent, up to the age of 35. The awards champion talent across a variety of sectors including, finance, legal, HR, creative and digital.

The 2021 awards will be the ninth MiMAs and will take place on Thursday 4 February, For the first time organisers ‘future pro-manchester’ will be embracing a digital awards experience.
