Member Spotlight: Sarah Lawless, Founder of Flawless Comms

1. Introduce yourself

I’m Sarah, a proud Mancunian, Mum to three young kids and founder of Flawless Comms.

I set up Flawless Comms in 2024 to help ambitious clients grow.  My sweet spot is bringing together marketing and BD into a single results-driven approach. I bring strategy, energy and action, using my skills and experience to deliver the important results.
Through planning and executing impactful BD strategies, I help clients to raise their profile, set up new services and win business. I pair this with designing and delivering creative marketing campaigns which allow fast-growth businesses to achieve their aspirations.

2. Career highlight

Setting up my own business is undoubtedly my career highlight. Making the decision to do my own thing, especially with such a young family, was a real leap of faith but it has absolutely paid off. I’m so happy to be doing something I love every day. I work with brilliant clients and get such a kick out of delivering fantastic results for them.

3. Name three words that describe your personality

My family tells me I’m kind, determined and loyal.

4. What’s the best thing about pro-manchester

Everything! Pro Manchester is fantastic, and I will bang on about it to anyone who will listen. It is an organisation that super-charges the Manchester business community by hosting so many high-quality events and providing professionals in the region with a great way of expanding their network. The Pro Manchester team is so warm and welcoming, and they offer many brilliant benefits for members too.

5. What are your priorities for 2025

Having founded Flawless Comms in 2024, I am focussing on growing my business and further expanding my network in the region. On a personal note, my twin boys are about to hit the terrible twos, so I would say surviving that would be top of the list!

6. What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

Having worked with a lot of clients in the property sector throughout my career, the continual regeneration of the city never ceases to amaze me. With the ongoing placemaking projects across the city and the evolution of our transport system, I doubt this will be slowing down any time soon.  I am excited to see what the skyline looks like by 2030.

7. Favourite meeting place in Manchester

I always love a walk-and-talk meeting, ideally with coffee and pastry in hand. La Chouquette in Didsbury is without a doubt the best place to go for this. Their chocolate and almond croissant is next level.

8. Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet

I would love to connect with B2B business across the city. I love working for clients in property, tech and professional services. I want to meet people who think a little differently and are open to finding new and exciting ways of raising their profile and growing their business.
