Member Spotlight: Hannah Craig, Head of PHA North – The PHA Group

Hi I’m Hannah! My role is ‘Head of PHA North’ which means I head up our Manchester and Leeds offices. With talented teams across both sides of the pennines, PHA North and MCG agency work together to proudly support businesses and communities across the north. We’re proud to work with brilliant clients such as the adidas Manchester Marathon, University of Liverpool, the BPP Group and Vileda and Marigold. The PHA Group is a PR, Digital and Creative agency with offices all over the UK.

4. What’s the best thing about pro-manchester

The vast variety of events on offer year-round. There’s a huge amount available on lots of different topics with interesting speakers that you can learn lots from! Not only are the events insightful but the community that attends are always great people, which also provides brilliant networking opportunities. When we launched PHA North nearly three years ago, nobody knew who we were so getting out and about to different events was crucial for our own awareness and pro-manchester played an important part in that for us, and still do!

5. What are your priorities for 2024

Supporting more great businesses based in Greater Manchester and Yorkshire! We’re proud of being based up north and we know there’s lots of other amazing talent and innovation being born here. We love working together to ensure they have a platform that provides national reach and recognition.

6. What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

I know that people have been saying for a while that Manchester is having ‘a moment’, but I believe that right now – it really is! It’s an exciting city region, bursting with digital innovation and trailblazing brands, and I think that will only accelerate over the next couple of years.

7. Favourite meeting place in Manchester

Trove in Bloc on Marble Street, it’s conveniently in the same building as our Manchester office. It always comes through with delicious pastries!

8. Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet

We’ve got lots of great expertise in tech, sustainability and legal sectors, but we’re also keen to chat to businesses that are looking to open an office or grow a presence in Greater Manchester and Yorkshire. There’s lots of important things to consider when looking to engage local networks and talent, and because we’re part of those communities, we know we can add great value and insight to those plans to ensure it’s a success.
