  1. Introduce yourself

I’m Ann, Tax Partner at Beever and Struthers. I’ve spent over 25 years in the world of tax as a chartered tax adviser and accountant, helping individuals, businesses, and organisations make sense of all the tricky tax bits. I love getting stuck into the complexities of my clients’ affairs, finding the smartest, most tax-efficient solutions, and making sure they keep more of what they’ve worked hard for. No jargon, no fuss, just clear, tailored advice to help them reach their financial goals.

  1. Career highlight

One of the standout moments in my career was helping a family-owned business restructure in the most tax-efficient way, especially tricky as some shares were held in trust. It was all about reshaping the company’s ownership to unlock tax benefits while keeping costs down. With a mix of strategic planning and deep tax know-how, I found a solution that not only saved money but also supported the shareholders’ long-term goals. The best part? It helped the business grow and thrive, proving that smart tax planning can make a real difference.
