Mediaworks, one of the UK’s largest independent digital marketing agencies, has bolstered its senior team with the appointment of Rosie Hebblethwaite as commercial operations director.

Rosie joins the multi award-winning agency with a deep wealth of media industry knowledge, following successful periods at ESI Media, where she worked on the London Evening Standard and The Independent, and most recently at Hearst, where she was digital director, overseeing digital operations on titles such as Men’s Health, Good Housekeeping and Harper’s Bazaar.

Brett Jacobson, founder and group CEO at Mediaworks, said: “Rosie arrives at such an exciting time for the agency. Her qualities and experience of working at the heart of where some of the world’s largest brands meet the most successful international digital media operators. Rosie’s experience will be invaluable to the growing number of retail, fashion and high street brands we represent.

“She adds a new depth of insight and understanding to the client-media relationship that will benefit all our partners and assist in our goal of becoming the biggest and best independent UK headquartered digital agency.”

Mediaworks, founded in 2007 by Jacobson, has doubled its headcount to 200 in the last 18 months and is aiming to double that again before the end of 2024. In the last three years, the agency has opened operations in Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester and Dublin, and it that time has widened its digital marketing specialism in finance, housing, construction and retail, working with clients such as schuh, Cath Kidston and Metro Bank.

On her appointment, Rosie said: “I could not be more excited to join Mediaworks at this pivotal time in the company’s growth. I was particularly impressed with Brett’s vision for the agency, his passion for the people across the business and a tremendously impressive client roster.

“I have more than a decade of working across a range of digital and publishing roles that has enabled me to deliver campaigns for the likes of Chanel, Sky, DFS and Tui. I cannot wait to work with Mediaworks’ client roster to help build on their brand and media currency and utilise my skills to help impactfully drive the agency onto its next stage of success.”

Mediaworks, delivers a range of services across SEO, PPC, web design, brand, content and digital PR. The rapidly growing agency currently has offices in Newcastle, Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester, Dublin and London.
