Manchester Based Lawyer Celebrates 40-year Milestone

Ian Munford, consultant at niche law firm Bermans, celebrates completing 40 years at the company, after starting his career with the North West firm in 1979 and since becoming one of the country’s most well-known lawyers in the asset finance industry.

His first major client was Anglo Leasing in 1979, initially focussing on litigation, and since then he has since developed a wide client base of funders, discounters and brokers, providing advice and assistance on most areas of asset finance including documentation, asset and debt recovery, risk advice, dispute resolution and regulatory work.

Ian, who leads the firm’s asset finance department, continues to enjoy his role and his client relationships, and hopes to carry on working and assisting with the development of the Bermans asset finance team for some time.
