JMW Solicitors has announced its partnership with the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), the nation’s leading charity supporting individuals affected by spinal cord injury. The partnership will cover both the North West and South West of England.
JMW will deliver the necessary legal assistance to those with a spinal injury, securing the best possible outcome legally and providing support to facilitate their rehabilitation. Whether in the form of making a claim, assisting in their return to work, or practical matters like Powers of Attorney or welfare benefits signposting. JMW’s expertise will go hand in hand with the SIA’s longstanding commitment to aid those affected by spinal cord injury.
The partnership also includes the direct involvement of Cathy Leech, the head of the SIA SCI team at JMW, who brings over two decades of experience working with SIA. Cathy has won SIA awards for both Fundraising and Excellence in Legal Care.
Cathy shared her thoughts on the partnership, stating: “This strategic partnership underscores JMW Solicitors’ commitment to provide unparalleled legal support and guidance to individuals with spinal cord injuries across the UK. Leveraging our extensive expertise in personal injury law and years of experience, we seek to maximise both legal outcomes and rehabilitation for clients, to enable them and their families to have the best possible future.
“We are also delighted to have Jamie Rhind as our Client Support Manager to support our clients practically – Jamie’s personal experience of spinal cord injury alongside his previous role as Head of Services at SIA brings a wealth of knowledge of the charity and the spinal cord injury world to JMW to benefit all our clients who need support coming to terms with their injury and navigating through the early stages.
“JMW strives to strengthen its relationship with SIA, a charity that provides indispensable support to those with spinal cord injuries. Over the past 20 years, the industry has seen the services for SCI people evolve with the hard work of SIA. Our collaboration is more critical than ever and we are dedicated to using our expertise to make this partnership a valuable asset for SIA members.”
JMW Solicitors offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to the needs of individuals with spinal injuries, including personal injury and medical negligence claims, employment law, wills, trusts and estate planning, Court of Protection assistance, and conveyancing.
