JLL is inviting the UK’s property scene to sign up for its new competitive 5-a-side women’s and men’s football tournaments to celebrate equality and gender diversity following England’s success at this summer’s Women’s Euros 2022.

Taking place on Friday 16th September, the JLL event will celebrate the Lionesses’ historic win at this summer’s tournament, while promoting the importance of equality within the property industry.

Participants of all genders and gender identities are welcome and encouraged to get involved and enter into the spirit of the beautiful game to help raise money for charity.

Entry costs £350 per team, with the fee including full use of the venue as well as referees, pre- and post-match refreshments as well as a prize and trophies for the winners.

The majority of the fee will be donated to JLL’s charity partner Hideout Youth Zone, an east Manchester-based youth club that seeks to provide a space for young people to spend their leisure time. The funds raised will be go towards providing free holiday club spaces for over 200 members.

Taking place at Powerleague Manchester, the event has been organised by JLL’s Gender Balance Group, an employee network that works to tackle gender inequality within the sector.

Joanna Gabrilatsou, Co-Chair of the Gender Balance Group at JLL, said: “Following the Lionesses historic win, we are excited to carry on the football fever in Manchester – home of Euros final goal scorer Ella Toone! It’s always great to bring the property industry together, and we look forward to seeing new and familiar faces to have some competitive fun and raise money for a great cause.”
