Jargon PR Appoints Former Investigative Journalist to Bolster Crisis Comms Offering

13th June 2022, Hampshire, UK: As Jargon PR continues to enjoy unprecedented growth, former national newspaper journalist Amanda Evans has joined the team after being appointed as Executive Director of Media Strategy. A primary aspect of Amanda’s role will be to lead Jargon PR’s well established crisis management division.
Jargon PR has a history of aiding businesses through the most difficult times, working with clients to not only bounce back from, but thrive following periods of reputation crisis. The agency’s efforts with client Horseman Coaches, resulted in winning the “Reputation Management” award at the PRCA Dare Awards 2020. Jargon PR has also worked on reputation campaigns for companies such as Audatex and Roberts Bakery.
Amanda will play a significant role in crisis management within Jargon PR. As a Fleet Street journalist with over 22 years’ experience, she has worked on the UK’s biggest selling Sunday newspaper and was the one asking the difficult questions. Her knowledge, invaluable experience and deep understanding of the media brings a sense of perspective to the most challenging of situations. Amanda has interviewed a number of individuals, from celebrities and political leaders to academics and sporting stars. As former Head of PR for a Hampshire based tech company, she also brings a wealth of new media and communications skills to the team.
