HGF is delighted to have won two awards at the 17th annual Managing IP Awards ceremony, which was hosted in London on June 15, 2022. The firm was among other well-respected European IP firms and law firms recognised at the ceremony.
Managing IP’s managing editor Ed Conlon said: “Congratulations to HGF for winning an award for its trademark work in Europe as well as the Patent & Trademark Attorney Firm of the Year award for Scotland.
“A Managing IP award is a hard-earned, prestigious accolade that is widely recognised and celebrated in the IP community across the world. Congratulations to all the winners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa on their deserved awards.
“We were delighted to host the EMEA Awards ceremony in person this year following the suspension of our physical events because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The ceremony brought together over 500 guests, including in-house practitioners and other key stakeholders in the IP profession.”
Speaking about HGF’s awards, Managing IP’s research editor Kingsley Egbuonu explained:
“We noted that HGF is among the most active firms for trademark and patent protection work, and a firm that continues to grow in Europe. The firm presented both contentious and prosecution work for a range of clients, especially SMEs, which demonstrated synergies in its offices across Europe.
“For example, the firm helped companies such as Iyasu, Laurence Odie Knitwear, and Transmission protect their brands and its patent work for the likes of Sunamp and NovaBiotics generated commercial success.”
