A group of senior citizens proved they are as sharp as ever when they successfully managed make their escape from two of Escape Hunt’s most challenging rooms at Corn Exchange Manchester yesterday, as part of a partnership with Forever Manchester.
Forever Manchester, a charity that raises money to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester, teamed up with Escape Hunt to provide a group of senior citizens the opportunity to visit the escape game venue. The twelve players showed that escape room experiences are not just for youngsters as they successfully tackled the notoriously challenging rooms, Blackbeard’s Treasure and The Fourth Samurai, in a commendable time.
Lisa Brown from Forever Manchester commented: “Escape Hunt is perfect for the older generation, many of whom enjoy puzzles and crosswords at home. It also offers a great opportunity to get out of the house and engage with others. These interactive games require logic, strategy and teamwork, keeping their minds alert, bodies active and offering them something different – that they might not have ever tried before.”
Hilda Uren commented: “We loved having the opportunity to socialise and exercise our minds in the Escape Hunt experience at Corn Exchange. Our age won’t stop us from having fun and we’d recommend these games for any over 60s who want to be entertained!”
Escape Hunt Manchester has five different games available, including the UK’s first official Doctor Who live escape game, Worlds Collide. The venue also offers a 10% discount for the over-60s.
Corn Exchange is one of Manchester’s premier leisure destinations, home to 13 restaurant brands, a luxury aparthotel and the Escape Hunt experience.
