Final call for active travel grants

Application for active travel grants for businesses can still be made until 10th September. SMEs with fewer than 250 staff can access a £250,000 pot (up to £10,000 per application) for interventions such as cycle parking, pool bikes and changing or storage solutions.  Find out more and apply.

More flexible travel thanks to weekly capping

People can now make unlimited journeys on Metrolink and never pay more than a seven-day travel pass when they touch-in and out with a contactless bank card or device.

The Bee Flex Weekly initiative is ideal for commuters and means that tram passengers using contactless in zone 1 will have their Monday to Sunday charges capped at £10.60. Customers travelling across all zones will be capped at £31

A range of other flexible ticketing options are in place for Metrolink customers, offering savings for people to travel off-peak and supporting new working arrangements that many businesses are implementing following lockdown.
