Event: Getting the most from your Agency and Client Relationship
19th September 2019, 11:07 am
Why do agency and client relationships break down?
Over 30% of businesses say that they have fallen out with their agency within the first 12 months, 34% of them have fired their agency and reappointed another agency. So, what is the true cost of changing agencies and how does it impact on the progression of your business marketing? In this reverse debate, we’re going to mix things up and have agency professionals arguing the client side and marketeers arguing for the agencies. This should make for an interesting twist on a pretty sensitive topic!
Our panel will look at the different reasons that client-agency relationships break down and discuss possible ways to prevent this from happening. What to look out for, common complaints from both sides, strategies to avoid this and the possible benefits of nurturing a successful relationship.
Hosted by Ben Martin there will be a 45 minute debate, followed by a Q&A then a networking event lunch, provided very kindly by Bruntwood.
Ben Martin has worked in the creative and marketing industry for 20 years in various roles as a graphic designer, account director, business developer, creative director and head of commercial and marketing on both agency and client side.
His broad range of experience has given him a different/unique perspective on the strengths and weaknesses of both sides of the working relationship.
