DLA Piper promotes in Manchester following strong performance in North West Corporate practice

1 May 2020 – DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Manchester-based Corporate lawyer Christopher Wilson has been promoted to partner as part of the firm’s annual promotion round, effective 1 May 2020. Chris joined DLA Piper in 2014 and his practice focuses on M&A and private equity work, regularly undertaking complex international transactions for clients.

Significant recent deals include advising Talk Talk Telecom Group plc on the GBP200m sale of FibreNation Limited to Cityfibre: the shareholders on the sale of Fragrance Oils Limited to Givaudin SA.: the management of Keoghs on the exit and management buyout backed by the Davies Group: LDC and management on the sale of Pure Cottages Group to Sykes Holiday Cottages:Beech Tree Private Equity on the MBO of Avid Insurance Services and the shareholders of SRL Traffic Systems on the MBO backed by LDC.
