Crescent Purchasing Consortium Supplier Excellence Awards – Judges Required

13th May 2024, 11:43 am

Dear All,

Crescent Purchasing Consortium is a Pro-Manchester member and an amazing charity based in Salford. They support schools and colleges with procuring good and services to help them gain best value, improve quality, and enhance learning environments. Any surplus reserves within the charity are returned to the education sector through grant funding.

Crescent make a significant impact towards enhancing teaching and learning nationwide and one element of our work which we could not do without is the support we gain from our 1,000+ suppliers, who work with us to help the education sector be the best it can be. We want to celebrate their work and their contribution to Crescent’s charity work. In July 2024, we will be hosting our inaugural supplier excellence awards at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate, Manchester.

To make the event a success we need a wide variety of volunteer judges who are not existing suppliers on a Crescent framework agreement. Can you help?

We would require your time to read and prioritise the submissions in the category you are assigned. We would then want you to join a video call with the other judges on your panel to debate the worthy winner. In return, we would want to provide you with the opportunity to have your profile on the awards website, and shared via social media and the awards programme on the evening of the event. It is a great way to raise the profile of yourself and your business, whilst supporting the work of our wonderful charity.

If you can spare the time and would like to be considered, please can you express your interest by emailing myself. My email address is [email protected]. The website for the awards is CPCAwards (cpcexcellenceawards.co.uk). The website address for our charity is Crescent Purchasing Consortium | CPC (thecpc.ac.uk).

Not be someone who misses an opportunity, if any of you would like to learn more about our charity and how we could potentially work together to mutual benefit, I would welcome the conversation. The charity is currently self-funded, but we would welcome the opportunity to work with the business community and jointly expand the impact we already make.

Thank you.

Darren Lowe

Managing Director of Crescent Purchasing Consortium.
