Cowgills Wealth has agreed a two-year deal to support Bolton Old Links Golf Club as main club sponsors. Part of the Cowgills Group, Cowgills Wealth will also offer financial and wealth management advice to the club and its members throughout the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
As part of the deal Cowgills Wealth will host a Charity Golf Day at Bolton Old Links in September which will see local businesses take part to support one of the firm’s chosen local charities. Cowgills Group is this year supporting Cancer Research, Bolton Lads and Girls Club, Bolton Hospice and Endeavour (Paws for Action).
Commenting on the sponsorship managing partner Paul Stansfield said: “Bolton has been our home for over 35 years and we are delighted to be able to support one of the town’s premier sporting institutions. Times may change but a lot of business is still done on the golf course and it is also where people come together to have fun, exercise and socialise. If we can raise money for local good causes at the same time as supporting this great club then we are very happy to do so.”
Sean Owen from Bolton Old Links added: “We are absolutely delighted that Cowgills Wealth will be our new main club sponsor for the next two seasons. They are a popular and well respected local firm and their support will benefit both the club and our members as well as raising funds for local charities.”
Cowgills Wealth provides retirement, investment and tax planning advice to individuals and is part of the wider Cowgills Group which supports many Bolton based entrepreneurial and family businesses. It has the Future Stars initiative with Bolton School, has strong links with Bolton University and last week hosted its inaugural Family Business Forum at Bolton Art Gallery.
