Cowgills announces latest partner promotion

North West leading accountancy and business advisory firm Cowgills, has promoted Jane Rash to partner in its rapidly growing deal advisory team, heading up strategic support.

Jane joined Cowgills as a newly qualified accountant in 2001 before moving into deal advisory in 2002.  She was promoted to manager in 2008 and director in 2015. Under her leadership the strategic support services team provides clients with guidance, support and advice pre, during and post transaction to achieve the best value and outcome, delivering strategy workshops, MI development, financial forecasts and company valuations.

Commenting on her promotion Jane said: “I’m extremely proud to be made a partner having worked at Cowgills since the very start of my career. The business has always been so supportive and flexible, enabling me to develop my skills, grow the strategic support services business and have time to raise my family.

She continued: “There is so much inherent knowledge within our team, and we are able to build long term relationships with clients on their journey towards an exit, a process which sometimes can take several years.  We really get to understand their needs and become trusted advisors.”

Jane heads the five strong strategic support services team of manager – Richard Hunter; executives – Nicole Turton and Tom Godwin and analyst Ed Higham. Tom and Nicole have both recently qualified and progressed through Cowgills graduate scheme which Jane believes not only attracts the best young talent but offers people the opportunity to demonstrate their ability and create unique roles within the business.
