Real estate advisors selected by investment manager Till Asset Management to promote Grade A office space at landmark location

Real estate advisors Colliers International have been appointed to market Grade A office space at the 435,000 sq ft Exchange Quay, Manchester.

The Manchester office of Colliers, alongside existing agent Canning O’Neill, will market 100,000 sq ft of available Grade A accommodation on the landmark estate, offering flexible office space from 1,000 sq ft to businesses of all sizes.

Colliers were appointed by Exchange Quay investment manager Till Asset Management on behalf of Ekistics Property Advisors, who represent the owner of the estate.

Exchange Quay has been comprehensively refurbished to provide Grade A office accommodation across seven buildings to blue-chip occupiers including investment platform and stockbroker AJ Bell, enterprise software provider Sage, commercial equipment supplier JLA, recruitment specialist Manpower Group and workplace solutions provider 3M.

The estate offers occupiers a wide and evolving range of on-site benefits and amenities including superfast broadband, a Pure Gym, Ice Bar, restaurant, post office, a nursery, shower facilities, cycling hub and Amazon lockers.

Its strategic location provides excellent road and public transport connectivity, including its own dedicated Metrolink station.

Till Asset Management was appointed by Ekistics in 2019 to progress the evolution of Exchange Quay and is based on the estate. The firm boasts a wealth of asset management expertise through its work on major developments such as Manchester International Office Centre (MIOC) and the Albany Building in Liverpool.

Dominic Pozzoni, director, national offices at the Manchester office of Colliers International, said: “Exchange Quay is one of the most prestigious office estates in the North West of England, offering Grade A office accommodation with unrivalled on-site amenities and events together with excellent connectivity.

“This is a very exciting and highly prestigious project to be appointed on and Colliers look forward to working with the existing team, to drive this asset forward.”

Les Lang, director at Till, said: It is an incredibly exciting time at Exchange Quay as we continue to welcome a range of new tenants to our valued occupier mix. In 2020 we will be unveiling more occupier services and reviewing our ongoing investment programme to ensure that this leading development achieves its full potential. Bringing the experienced team at Colliers on board forms part of our wider strategy and their dynamic approach is well aligned with our ambitious plans for the estate.
