Cabinet Office Places for Growth survey

13th February 2024, 2:42 pm

The Government’s “Places for Growth” (PfG) has been designed to enhance the representation of the Civil Service across the entire UK, spanning various departments, functions, and professions. The goal is to relocate 22,000 civil servant roles outside London by 2027.

The Programme has relocated over 16,000 roles out of London to locations across the UK, including Manchester, and is now undertaking an evaluation to understand the impact on key locations.

In light of this, the Cabinet Office and their research provider EY are reaching out to gather insights on the impact of the relocation of Civil Servants on local businesses in the area.

Your participation in this ongoing survey is important for assessing the current impact of the programme and making informed adjustments to ensure the programme aligns effectively with the needs of the local business community.

The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and your responses will be anonymous and used solely for the purpose of assessing the Places for Growth programme.

You can find the survey link here and the deadline for completion is 23rd February.
