11th November 2022, 3:49 pm
Following on from DIT’s recent UK Fintech Mission to Australia in September, we are pleased to invite you to our final online event for 2022.
DIT is proud to partner with Ernst & Young (EY) in sharing the results of the 2022 EY Fintech Australia Census who will share the latest developments in Australia’s Fintech ecosystem.
Please join us for the webinar at 9.00am (GMT) on Wednesday 23 November 2022. DIT will provide a review and highlights of the recent Mission to Australia and set the scene for 2023.
Ernst & Young (EY) Australia has continued its successful collaboration with FinTech Australia to deliver this important piece of research. The Census remains the only detailed, industry-backed analysis of the Australian fintech industry, offering fine-grain detail about the industry’s increased maturity.
This year’s Census finds the sector still in growth mode and increased maturity but facing increasingly fragile market conditions. May Lam, EY Oceania Fintech Leader and Asia-Pacific Payments Leader, will provide insights from Australia’s seventh Fintech Census including:
- Growth profile, including leading segments, post-revenue and post-profit rises, and favoured work models
- Challenges and competitor landscape, including the tightening capital raising and talent environments
- Solutions, including more accessible and better-targeted government support, greater focus on ESG and increased ecosystem collaboration
- Rise of paytech and what it means to the overall fintech
Join the UK’s Department for International Trade and EY’s seminar on 23 November 2022 to discover the Australian fintech sectors that provide the best opportunities for growth and expansion.
Date: Wednesday 23rd November
Time: 09.00am – 10.00am (GMT)
Cost: Free to participate for UK companies
