Full-service brand and communications agency, Agent, and its sister social enterprise, Agent Academy, have announced a rebrand as well as future ambitions for the businesses, following the most successful year to date.
Agent has committed to a mission of ‘making good work’, pledging to continue to work with businesses who share its ambition to make a positive difference to people, place and the planet.
The agency – which launched in 2006 and has studios in Liverpool and Manchester – delivers a full service offering for brands such as CGI, National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Yodel, RHA, and Assura.
Alongside Agent Academy, the business has unveiled a new brand identity and digital presence. The visual identity introduces an updated colour palette for Agent, whilst keeping its recognisable purple as a nod to the agency’s 16-year legacy.
The new visual identity comes at an exciting time for the business, as it brings in new talent to its growing 36-strong team, including the recent appointment of its new Head of Digital, Paul Maker. Paul brings with him more than 20 years of experience, having worked in a number of start-ups and early phase businesses, including as Technical Director for an award-winning Fin-Tech company.
Paul Corcoran, CEO, said:
“We’ve always been committed to social value and practicing what we preach, but more than ever, we want to truly commit to having a positive impact on everything we do. The growth of both Agent and Agent Academy over the last few years has culminated in a need for us to stake our claim for who we are and what we stand for, so that anyone who works with us, knows exactly what to expect.
“As we begin the next chapter of our story, we want to continue creating opportunities and working with forward thinking, like-minded businesses that share our values by actively doing good for people and, of course, our planet.”
For Agent Academy, the new brand coincides with a refreshed vision to be the place for future talent delivering a range of industry-inspired young person-focussed programmes; Sparks for younger learners, Rise for entry-level talent and graduates, Fuse for education partners, and Lift for those learners looking to retrain.
To date, Agent Academy has helped more than 300 young people start careers in the North West creative and digital industry.
Zoe Wallace, Director of Agent Academy, said:
“Being the place for future talent is about taking pride in where we’re from, being ahead of the game and giving everyone the opportunity to reach their potential.
“We know our approach works and now it’s time to do even more. We will work with partners to help even more young people upskill and connect with their future employers, simultaneously supporting businesses in the North West to find a new, diverse workforce.”
