HideOut Youth Zone

HideOut Youth Zone provides a safe and inspiring place for thousands of young people aged 8 – 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure time. Located on Hyde Road in Gorton, HideOut Youth Zone is a charity dedicated to supporting young people by providing three things they need and deserve – somewhere safe to go, something positive to do and someone trusted to talk to

Inside the Youth Zone, young people are welcomed by friendly, qualified staff and a team of committed volunteers.  We are open whenever school is closed for young people, ensuring they have the opportunity to take part in over 20 fun and engaging activities every day including sports, arts, music, media, dance, drama and much more. Employability workshops and support is available for anyone who needs help getting into employment, education or training. Inside our enterprise suite, we encourage individuals to dream big and develop their entrepreneurial skills.

HideOut is delivered in partnership with our Capital Donors Fred Done, Manchester City Council and Onside Youth Zones, alongside a number of supportive businesses and philanthropists, who have a vested interest in helping Young Mancunians. Our current partners include ANS Group, Beauty Works, Godel Technologies, Bruntwood, The JD Foundation, Lendlease, AO Smile Foundation, Manchester Ball, Theo Paphitis, Together, Open Money, Beyond Group, This is Manchester Awards and GCA Altium.
