The LGBT Veterans Independent Review has been set up to examine the impact of the 1967 to 2000 ban on homosexuality in the UK Armed Forces.
The Review will seek to better understand the experiences of LGBT individuals who served in the Armed Forces from 1967 to 2000 and will provide recommendations to government on how to address this historic hurt.
If you or someone you know, were impacted by the ban, head over to their website to find out how you can inform the review.
www.gov.uk/lgbt-veterans-review
Follow on all social media: @LGBTVetReview
Please find attached a pdf copy of the “Fighting with Pride” e-guide to the Call for Evidence.

It is written to help veterans understand the language, logic, layout and requirements of the Review’s online Questionnaire used for the Call for Evidence, to encourage them to submit their ‘evidence’, to provide tips and advice, and to signpost available support, should they wish to use it.
It is not intended to substitute the Review’s Questionnaire, and it steers all enquiries in the first place to the Independent Review team, as this is their Call for Evidence not FWP.
Hyperlinks are provided so that it is not necessary to search for support when it is mentioned but clicking on the link will take the reader straight to that website or page.

Healthwatch Oldham are asking for your feedback on accessing cancer screening, knowing which cancer screening you can access and your actual experience of any cancer screenings undertaken as a transgender, intersex, non-binary or gender fluid person.

This will help them to better understand any areas of improvement you feel are required and share your experiences around cancer screening experiences with Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership, GP practices, local cancer screening services and the LGBT foundation. They are asking for feedback because better access and knowledge around cancer screening has been raised nationally and locally so lived experience around this subject helps to inform and create positive change.
