A huge, warm welcome to our new Events & Marketing Assistant – Ellie Day

pro-manchester is delighted to welcome Ellie Day to the team. Read on to find out a little bit more about her, and we’re sure you’ll see her at an event very soon! 

Hi, I’m Ellie, the new Events and Marketing Assistant for pro-manchester. I have joined pro-manchester on a summer internship as I also currently study Events Management at Manchester Metropolitan University.

I have lived in Manchester for the past 3 years and loved every second. I am about to go into my final year of university and feel extremely excited to see what else Manchester has to offer (outside of student life!). In my spare time, I love attending music events and exploring new places.

I am originally from Milton Keynes so previous to my time in Manchester I studied at the FRA in London, where I learnt about all aspects of the fashion industry including events & marketing – which is what sparked my interest and love for the industry (and where I made the decision to move up North!).

I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to work for pro-manchester and to gain an insight into what goes on ‘behind the scenes in the events industry, allowing me to gain relevant experience in hopefully, what will be my future career.
