Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) is offering 50% funding towards Executive Education course fees for local Manchester leaders in celebration of its 60th anniversary in 2025.
As it looks to encourage the next wave of business leaders in Greater Manchester, the School is offering the funding for its short courses taking place this year.
These courses cover a range of areas including strategic productivity, AI and digital transformation, and leadership. To be eligible for these reduced costs, professionals must meet both the following requirements:
- Be employed by an organisation based in Greater Manchester
- Have relevant experience to ensure they will benefit from their chosen course.
Among the courses on offer are programmes that will help leaders to explore and develop the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly changing economy. This includes courses that explore a range of vital topics such as:
- Digital transformation
- Leading projects
- ESG and sustainability
- Data and AI
- Managing complex business challenges.
Celebrating 60 years of AMBS
The funding comes as AMBS celebrates six decades of empowering leaders, thinkers, and visionaries across the globe to deliver transformative and innovative technologies, innovations and ideas.
This year will see the school focus on how it can continue to shape the next chapter of innovation and impact in business, both globally and within Greater Manchester.
The funding initiative builds on the School’s commitment to delivering high-quality, world-class Executive Education programmes, having appointed Stuart Wells as its new managing director for Executive Education last year. Stuart has over 20 years of commercial experience designing and delivering global leadership and organisational development programmes across both public and private sectors.
Stuart Wells, Managing Director for Executive Education at Alliance Manchester Business School, said: “As the School celebrates its 60th anniversary, we wanted to take this chance to reflect on how we could give back to this incredible and pioneering city, as well as strengthen our commitment to developing Greater Manchester’s business community.
“With this new funding, we are hoping to encourage more people to develop their understanding of business and organisational transformation, as well as equipping them with the skills they’ll need now and in the future to help both themselves – and the organisations they work for – to thrive.”
