Member Spotlight: Clare Moorhouse, Founder at Moorhouse Digital

I’m Clare, the founder of Moorhouse Digital. We help service-based businesses be more visible online, attract and nurture their ideal client and ultimately grow their business.
I have over 25 years’ experience in digital marketing. I’ve worked with CEOs and their leadership teams to create and implement digital strategies that continually deliver new leads. I’ve worked for a large global agency (Torpedo Group) helping clients including Panasonic, Adobe and Autodesk convert more sales through well-planned content. I’ve designed a paid lead generation campaign that doubled a client’s profitability and revenue within just 12 months. And helped brave start-ups establish the right digital strategy to enter new markets.
I set up my own digital marketing agency in 2016 because I recognised a gap in the market for helping small, yet ambitious companies grow who couldn’t necessarily afford big agency price tags, yet they still needed an experienced and knowledgeable digital partner who could help grow their business.
I now have the privilege of working for some amazing clients from a wide range of sectors, across the UK and globally and I love every minute of it.
My day is made when clients start to see results from the work we have done, when they get regular qualified leads in their inbox, when they see huge growth in profit, or when their clients keep coming back because they are continually offering them value.
I am a proud Mum to my 15-year old son, Alfie, and I have a very supportive partner – who I am marrying in 2025!

Setting up my business from the ground up single-handedly and having the commitment and drive to keep going through the ebbs and flows! I’m also proud of the impact I make to my clients’ businesses, helping them build a strong online presence so they get more leads and enquiries.

- What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?
The diversity of its members and the interesting events that they host throughout the year. I also believe the leadership team at Pro-Manchester do a great job in promoting its members.
- What are your priorities for 2025
To continue growing Moorhouse Digital, keeping fully up-to-date with the rapidly changing digital landscape and helping our clients adapt their digital strategy so they stay visible.
- What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?
There are so many things I love about Manchester; the thriving arts and culture scene, the ongoing property development and infrastructure that help make Manchester one of the best UK cities to live and run a business.
- Favourite meeting place in Manchester
Any independent coffee shop that serves a nice latte! I regularly work at WeWork on John Dalton Street so it’s very central for meeting up.
- Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet
I’d love to talk to service-based businesses who want to grow their business in 2025. Those who haven’t really focused on digital marketing because they have relied heavily on word-of-mouth recommendations, but now know they need to utilise online marketing to grow and scale.
