Software Crafters Event: Architecture Kata – Codurance & Spektrix

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting Software Crafters Manchester event on 24th October, co-hosted alongside Spektrix.

Spektrix works in partnership with arts and entertainment organisations, providing the ticketing and CRM technology they need to run live events and the expertise they need to make the most of it. Spektrix users join a rich network of fellow professionals and industry experts. Their work is enabled by technology and they have a large engineering team based in Manchester. They’re the market leader in the UK and Ireland, and the fastest growing CRM solution for the cultural sector in the US and Canada.

We’ll introduce a bespoke Architecture kata, specifically for this event. This session is all about collaborative learning, skill enhancement and networking in a relaxed environment. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the work undertaken by Spektrix.

You don’t need to be experienced in Architecture to participate. Within groups, you’ll have an opportunity to design a technical architecture for the use case. At the end of the task, each team will showcase their architecture and technology choices back to the wider group as part of a group discussion. This is an excellent opportunity to try out Software Architecture in a collaborative, supportive and fun environment.
