1. Introduce yourself

I’m an Investment Manager with Investec Wealth & Investment (UK), managing investments on behalf of individuals, advisors, or corporates. In a previous life I was an Officer in the Royal Marines before leaving to pursue a career in financial services as well as moving to Manchester. I’ve got two young boys at home and in my spare time I try to get to the Lake District to go climbing or back to my native Devon so I can still, albeit loosely, call myself a surfer.

Passing my final Chartered Wealth manager exam to become fully qualified.

3. Name three words that describe your personality

Somewhat considerate, quietly confident, occasionally funny.

4. What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?

Getting to meet local businesses and connecting at events – particularly the MIMA award dinner.

5. What are your priorities for 2024?

Meet my growth targets at work, continue to develop in my career whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance.

6. What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

The growing network of young entrepreneurs, especially in the tech sector.
