Fatima Mohammed from Manchester, Head of Sustainability at Form. Started Form Sustain.

2. Career highlight

Winning the Made in Manchester Sustainability Champion 2022 award that my lovely colleagues kindly nominated me for! As recognition in their words for ‘being instrumental in delivering sustainability services to our customers and pivoting our business in record time in the direction we aspired to go’.

3. Name three words that describe your personality

Curious, empathetic and determined.

4. What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?

The network that it opens up of likeminded people, as well as the dynamic set of events that are on offer.

5. What are your priorities for 2024?

Growing our sub brand Form Sustain – our Sustainability consultancy. Allowing the brand to gain the recognition that it deserves and championing business as a force for good (as a 2024 newly accredited B Corp this is a huge priority!).

6. What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

Greater Manchester has an ambitious plan to become a carbon-neutral city region by 2038, so it us up to businesses to place sustainability on the top of their agenda, place urgency on the matter and work as a collective.

7. Favourite meeting place in Manchester

All buildings in the Form portfolio offer rich collaboration spaces, whether it’s ABC Building, new spaces in the St Johns district such as the Courts Club, Bonded Warehouse etc.

8. Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?

Form have recently become B Corp certified, making us one of only around 2,000 businesses in the UK with the accreditation. To meet other B Corp certified businesses in Manchester would be great! Or similarly any business that would like to start to the journey to becoming B Corp we can help too.
