UHY Hacker Young Manchester Secures Nomination in the Upcoming 2024 Insider North West Dealmakers Awards

We are delighted to announce that UHY Hacker Young Manchester has been shortlisted in this year’s Insider North West Dealmakers Awards. Our exceptional Corporate Finance team has been selected as a finalist for the coveted ‘Mid-Market Corporate Finance Team of the Year’ award.

This prestigious awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 17 October at Manchester Central. It celebrates the achievements of leading professionals, including corporate financiers, accountants, lawyers, and bankers from across the North West region.

UHY Manchester’s corporate finance team have had an outstanding year, successfully concluding 19 deals during this period, resulting in a total with a total approximate transaction value of over £630m.

The team’s vast and varied expertise is highlighted in the deal types completed, including disposals, acquisitions and management buyouts, across a diverse range of sectors including financial services, automotive retail and industrials. This has solidified the team’s reputation as a formidable presence in the North West region.

With a 5-year plan to double the size of the practice, the Corporate Finance team have made a significant contribution to this growth, providing over 18% of the FY24 target revenue.
