About the Speakers:
Donald Moore is chair of One+All an SME in Stockport. Established in 1935 it became employee owned in 2015 and a B Corp in 2020 – best for the world (top 5%) for workers. He is an advocate for the real living wage, good employment, poverty and business for good.
I lead the social value, sustainability, and ESG activities for Hive Projects. With my previous experience in the commercial, government, and higher education sectors, I oversee our social value, sustainability, and ESG activity across the portfolio while actively working on client-side projects, consulting on policy, and developing tangible delivery strategies.
I am genuinely interested in promoting equality in employment, and have actively participated in projects aimed at bridging gender gaps in terms of employability, pay, and accessibility.
Lizz heads up Advance Social Value; An approachable Consultancy providing bespoke social value support for public & private sector.
With a background in Bid Management, Social Housing, social value delivery and more recently; procurement, Lizz offers a varied skill set with a down to earth approach.
Adam looks after all operations and continuous development for Compliance Chain software, with a goal to simplify software in the construction industry.
Compliance Chain allows public and private sector organisations to create and manage projects, with the ability to submit KPI and Social Value delivery plans.
Kat has a passion for driving better social and environmental performance and looking at the way we think, collaborate and drive positive change with lasting impact. Having worked and trained in civil engineering and stakeholder management within the built environment, Kat advises, manages and delivers Social value and ESG programmes for clients within the construction and real estate industry.
Kat is an advocate for representation in STEM, innovation and transformation in the sector and has held a number of committee and chair roles across industry, policy and networking groups. Over the last 4 years, the development and mainstreaming of ESG,Kat has supported businesses to elevate social value up the priority list, whilst understanding the commercial challenges and risks that are associated.
I’m Geraldine and look after all things marketing and business development related. From branding to business relationships, I try to cover all bases. My team and I make sure that #teambeevers are represented in the best way and in all the right places.
With over 20 years of experience, I enjoy working with like-minded individuals who are keen to engage, grow and ensure their business is a sustainable one. I love the work I do with clients around social value and community projects, and not forgetting the time I spend with students in my role as Enterprise Advisor at a secondary school in Lancashire.
Simon is a Partner at Brabners, the purpose-led independent law firm. Alongside supporting businesses to achieve their goals through his corporate law expertise, Simon is the chair of Brabners’ Sustainability, Environmental & Green Group (SEGG). In this role, he leads on driving Brabners forward in all aspects of sustainability, helping it to deliver on its purpose — to bring about positive change.
Simon led Brabners’ efforts to become the UK’s largest law firm — and the first outside London — to achieve B Corp status and embed the ‘triple bottom line’ framework to balance people and planet with profit.
