Supporting Manchester’s Youth: Together’s donations to Manchester Youth Zone reach a quarter of a million pounds

Local charity Manchester Youth Zone has received a further donation of £25,000 from specialist lender Together. The funds will help to provide a brighter future for young people and families in North Manchester, through a variety of activities and one-to-one support with youth workers and volunteer mentors.

Having already supported the charity for 10 years, this donation will take the total amount provided by the Cheadle-based lender up to nearly a quarter of a million pounds.

As one of the Youth Zone’s most dedicated and active patrons, Together has been instrumental in helping Manchester Youth Zone support a wide range of projects and activities. Last year alone, 56 of its colleagues contributed a total of 222 hours of volunteer work to initiatives, such as the Youth Zone’s Holiday Clubs, Takeover Days, and Employability Programmes.

With Together’s support, in the last 10 Years Manchester Youth Zone has been able to provide crucial assistance to young people and their families.

Over this period, the charity has gone from success to success, with nearly 19,000 memberships and more than 340,000 attendees. In addition, Manchester Youth Zone has delivered over a million hours of sessions delivered for young people since 2012, thanks to Together ongoing support.
