Have you ever thought about joining one of the pro-manchester committees?

Friday, 25th March 2022

Here at pro-manchester, community is at the heart of everything we do.  Our whole programme is created by our members for our members.  We are often asked how this works and in large it is through our 16 fantastic committees who regularly meet to review, recommend, and promote key challenges and opportunities within their area of expertise.  As you will have recently seen, we have introduced three new team members to work closer with the different business sectors and the committee members to make sure we are creating impactful events, thought-provoking ideas and sharing updates through a wide variety of channels.

Richard Moss: Hi, I’m Richard and I manage the Fintech, Transport & Infrastructure, Property & Regeneration, Healthcare, Greentech and Innovation sectors. As Manchester continues to build, to develop better transport links and continually focus on sustainability and reducing its Carbon footprint, I would love to recruit some committee members from these sectors who would love to share ideas, build relationships and keep each other informed. Please do contact me on [email protected] if you are interested.

Michael Kenny: Hi, I’m Michael and I manage the Sport, Hospitality, Retail and Future-pro programmes. With over 10 years’ experience in hospitality and a keen interest in the Sport and Retail sectors, I’m looking forward to growing these programmes in the future. I’m on the lookout for pro-manchester members who have a passion for these sectors, are looking for the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded people and want to be involved in steering the committee towards the important issues for their industry. If you’re interested please get in touch [email protected]

Rachel Tetlow: Hi, I’m Rachel and I manage the EDI, Skills, Health Hub, Creative, Digital and Media programmes. I know that Diversity & Inclusion is high on our member organisations’ agendas and the past two years have highlighted the necessity for health & wellbeing to be a top priority for all of us.  Manchester is a diverse and unique city, known for its leading digital and creative sector and I’d love to draw on this expertise as we develop our programme. I’m looking for passionate individuals to join the committees, share their  knowledge and expertise and help shape the future of our programmes. If you are interested in this opportunity contact [email protected] I would be delighted to hear from you.

We are now currently looking for pro-manchester members who are keen to get more involved and join one of our groups.  Each group meets around 4 times a year to create a programme of activity that is designed to help support key industry sectors by addressing challenges and opportunities and raising awareness across the business community.  The group seeks to improve communications across sectors and create a better understanding of business needs and organizational cultures. With a focus on business development, the group also explores opportunities for businesses to secure new business from one another as well as their clients and contacts.
