CMS continues Manchester expansion with senior hire to boost Real Estate Finance practice

CMS is delighted to announce the hire of Tim McNamara to its expanding Real Estate Finance practice in Manchester, which he will join as an Of Counsel.

Tim joins CMS from Shoosmiths LLP where he was a banking partner; prior to that he started his career with Herbert Smith before joining Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester in 2005.  Tim has extensive industry experience also, having worked as Head of Transaction Management for NatWest Bank for eight years.

Tim adds extensive Real Estate Finance transactional experience to the CMS team and has worked on a range of high value matters for lenders (including NatWest and HSBC) and borrowers in the real estate sector.

“We are delighted to have Tim join us” says CMS Partner Ruth Marken who heads the firm’s Finance practice in Manchester.  “There are few more experienced practitioners in the local market and he further strengthens a team that is already growing fast and securing important instructions from all over the UK.”
