ENTREPRENEURS and start-ups in Greater Manchester looking to grow their business through online tools and channels can get the help they need thanks to the return of a programme from GC Business Growth Hub.
Business on the Go is fully funded for eligible businesses that have either not yet launched or are in the early years of trading and want to get to grips with the challenges and opportunities of e-commerce.
There are limited places available with a deadline of 9 June for businesses to register their interest at businessgrowthhub.com/business-on-the-go.
The programme will be delivered by GC Business Growth Hub, part of The Growth Company and part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, and will invite businesses to attend face-to-face workshops, the first to be run by the Hub since the start of the pandemic.
Business on the Go will be delivered in a COVID safe way at a brand new venue in the heart of Manchester that will launch later in May.
Business on the Go is an opportunity to learn from the best. The team of advisors includes Chris Bate who has more than 30 years of senior level, global corporate and consultancy experience within highly competitive sports, fashion, footwear, and apparel markets for brands like Nike, Wolverine, French Connection and Under Armour.
Offering practical advice and business fundamentals, Business on the Go will ensure participants consider the technical aspects needed to successfully launch and grow an online business.
Hilary Centeleghe, Head of Startup and Growth at GC Business Growth Hub, said: “This is a great opportunity for business start-ups to learn from other budding entrepreneurs who are building their online empire.
“In addition, our advisors will be on hand to offer intensive one-to-one tailored support, through collaborative workshops and action learning, helping participants to hone their skills and build their business the right way.”
The programme will also include ‘fireside chats’ with successful founders, where participants have the opportunity to hear from founders of established online retail businesses, understand their journey and ask questions about what they’ve learned.
Business on the Go is being held in partnership with Bruntwood Works.
