Mott MacDonald is hosting a series of lunch and learn sessions designed to share knowledge and provide learning opportunities for a variety of industries. The next session is relevant to the enormous changes and improvements we are about to see in the initiation of public infrastructure projects. The recent National Infrastructure Strategy and the changes to the green book are a step in the right direction and the Rail Needs Assessment, published in December presents some interesting ideas as well. This coming year will be exciting in terms of the changes to the industry and we want to share our thinking with you.

The sessions are focussed on an audience of Programme and Commercial managers as well as the legal and financial sectors to provide a broader understanding of the topics when assessing the future direction of project delivery.
About the speakers:
Paul Hammond is Global Practice Lead for Economics at Mott MacDonald. Paul is lead for the company’s Future Mobility work linking transport innovations to economic, social & environmental wellbeing. He has over 25 years experience in local government and as a private consultant. Paul has led major economic assessments for UK infrastructure projects and delivered assignments for the IFC World Bank, European Commission and the EIB.
Stephen Cox is Head of Economic & Social Development for Mott MacDonald is an expert in infrastructure economics, development economics, regeneration, economic development and its interface with the town planning system.
