Introducing CGI’s ‘STEM from Home’ programme

8th April 2020, 10:00 am

We find ourselves in unprecedented and challenging times. Most of us have suddenly had to change our working culture and physical ways of working. Add to this, that a significant number of us are now working from home alongside our families and children. This brings a different set of challenges to overcome.

While CGI, of course, continues to support our clients’ operational needs, we also want to help keep all our children engaged, entertained and educated. So CGI has launched the ‘STEM from Home’ programme (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) which you are welcome to share with your family, friends and colleagues.

The programme consists of weekly STEM-based activity packs that can be completed by children of all ages.  Activities encompass all aspects of STEM, including coding, environmental sustainability and robotics. A range of activities will be available each week, involving technical, practical and physical elements.

Each Wednesday, we will release an activity pack on the CGI website, with notifications and links shared via Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

We would love participants to post their best pictures of the activities and competitions on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook using #STEMfromHome and #ExperienceCGI. The best entries will be shared across our Social Media channels.
