BBC Lifeline appeal profiles the work of StreetGames!

28th February 2020, 1:11 pm

Earlier this month, StreetGames became the latest national charity to be featured on BBC One’s ‘Lifeline’. Presented by British Olympic hero and celebrity Master Chef champion Greg Rutherford, this 10-minute short introduced viewers to the work of StreetGames, its partners, projects and participants.

Featuring three inspirational case studies, including George and Tyler from Carney’s Community, Jess and Grace from Anfield Sports, and Shannon from the Water Adventure Centre, the appeal tied each of these stories to one of StreetGames’ core themes: those of community safety; health and wellbeing; and personal skills, respectively.

StreetGames would like to thank everyone involved in the creation of this wonderful short film, including the projects and participants, and host Greg Rutherford – all of whom freely gave up their time to be involved.
